About Directional Drilling

Commonly called horizontal directional drilling or HDD, is a steerable trench less method of installing underground pipes, conduits and cables in an arc along a prescribed bore path by using a surface-launched drilling rig, with minimal impact on the surrounding area.

Eco Drill offer expertise in the execution of Directional Drilling. Our personnel have been installing utilities by this method since its introduction 30 years ago. Eco Drill was originally formed as a Directional Drilling contractor in 2007 but quickly found that our Clients required a “one stop shop” so we attained additional skill sets to provide turnkey solutions from design and installation right through to final connections and commissioning of utilities.
